I am moving — what happens to my mobility budget?

A relocation of either the company or the employee has no impact on the amount of the mobility budget.

A relocation can, however, affect the use of the mobility budget, specifically for housing costs

Step-by-step plan

• Inform HR and/or Mobilitypower of your new address
• HR will check only whether your new address affects the eligibility for pillar 2 (housing)
• Your mobility budget amount remains unchanged
• Mobilitypower will inform you if the use of pillar 2 is impacted 

Additional information

• The mobility budget amount is not recalculated when moving.
• Only pillar 2 (housing costs) may be affected.
• Moving further than 10 km → housing costs become ineligible.
• Moving within 10 km → housing costs may become eligible.
