Items such as wear due to incorrect use, damages, fines, and cleaning are not part of the regular maintenance for a lease vehicle.
Good to know
Consumables and comfort accessories are your own responsibility.
Navigation or multimedia updates are not always included.
Technical inspections are your responsibility.
Additional information
Updates for built-in navigation systems or infotainment software are often excluded from standard maintenance in many lease contracts. If you wish to keep your navigation system up to date, there may be additional costs depending on the manufacturer or contract.
If your lease vehicle must undergo a mandatory inspection after a certain period (for example, every 4 years), you must arrange this yourself. The cost and organization of this inspection are usually not covered under regular maintenance.
The following items are generally not included in the standard maintenance package of a lease vehicle (non-exhaustive list):
AdBlue refills
Navigation or software updates
Replacement or purchase of floor mats
Technical inspection
Washing or cleaning of the vehicle
Loss or breakage of keys
Repairs due to abnormal vehicle use
Comfort or style accessories outside the manufacturer’s warranty
